O Maa Mangalaa, your complexion is fair, you are full of love, you are eternal (‘Parna’ means ‘a leaf’, ‘Aparna’ means ‘eternal’, such a ‘leaf’ which will never separate from the tree i.e. God), you take away all pain, sufferings and troubles. O four armed one, you are the mother of the world, you are the one who holds Goloka (and the one who arranges all the leelas of Goloka). Coming to the mortal world in the state of Utkala, you O great goddess, bless people and make them progress spiritually. You have the record of everyone's sins and good/righteous deeds, you examine these and nothing is hidden from you. With your grace, one’s material desires get transformed into the desire to serve the Supreme God. You graciously give all kinds of material prosperity, money, the fortune of fields full of grains, land, gold to the poor and the destitute. You always remain in the all blissful state within the self, you are the mother of the entire universe, you always remain in joy and make everyone joyful. You make everyone progress spiritually. You sit in the throne and enlighten everyone with knowledge, you crush and destroy evil intellect and bring good sense. You eternally reside in the supreme abode, you are like the swan, as the swan is not affected by the Maya of the material world, you are yourself Yogamaya, you are beyond maya. You are a divine young girl with a beautiful smell. You are gentle, calm, all pure, always gracious and you live in bliss. The universe is your manifestation. You, the destroyer of all sorrows, have different forms, just like a melody in infinite meters becomes infinite melodies, you also have infinite forms. Just like there are infinite beautiful paints, you also have infinite forms. You are the rescuer of all and you bring devotion in everyone's heart. You are the one who gives happiness, who destroys all sorrows, who gives joy to the world, O divine young girl, you are one who lives in bliss and always gives bliss to all, the one who is always spoken about and who makes one worthy to be spoken about (you are the one who gives such progress), one who always blooms like a flower and makes one blossom like a flower too, who is the vehicle for one’s progress. You are always regarded greatly and you make one worthy of regard. You are so cultivated that Maya does not affect you and you free everyone from the bondages of maya. You yourself remain engaged in service of the Supreme Divine and make everyone progress and serve the Supreme Divine. You are above the materialistic world. I bow to you, the one who resides in Kakatapura, who is the giver of true knowledge and intellect. I bow to the one who herself searches and chooses the appropriate wood for Lord Jagannath's chariot, who is the heroine of Vaikuntha, who is the “Shabdita” maya of Lord Vishnu. The one who is worshiped in the whole universe, both devatas and men worship you, I bow to that goddess. I bow to the goddess who is the biggest devotee of Lord Vishnu and who becomes goddess Bhairavi (Mahamaya) in Maya Loka (material world). You are all auspiciousness and embodiment of truth, you are everywhere, you are in the entire universe, I bow to you. You are in the beginning as well, you are all pure, you are complete yourself, I bow to you. You are in every sight, you are in the rain as well, you are in every creation, every particle in the universe, I bow to you. You are the one who brings good to everyone, you are auspicious yourself, you are divinely auspicious, I bow to you. (8)
